Living in Alaska has been so different from other places we’ve lived. We were told of things that would happen and I
tucked them away in my mind "for later" but then all of a sudden
they've happened and now we’re heading back into winter like when we first arrived
here! We really tried to enjoy as much of the extra daylight and the sun
that we’ve had, on the few days it wasn't raining! Despite the differences (and all the longing for hot, humid days this summer) I have to keep reminding
myself that this Alaskan experience isn't forever. As much as I'm ready to be back in the lower
48 (where summer actually feels like summer!) there are some things that I
already know will be missed.
Here's a first look back at the last couple months...
chatting with daddy…
sending packages to daddy…
easter fun…
the arrival of “daddy bunny”…
daddy’s birthday picture and treat jars…
mother’s day flowers…
and of course, the moose who spent the day in our backyard…
love the sweet and sour treat idea!! so cute!
